With its many innovative features the XC300 is up to the requirements of the building sector and is also suitable for use in other demanding application areas such as electrothermography or preventive maintenance in the industrial sector.
Excellent as a diagnostic tool in construction and for industrial applications
The heart of the XC infrared camera consists of a 384 x 288 pixel high-resolution infrared sensor with 110,592 independent temperature measuring points. The camera provides completely radiometric images with a detailed representation of the details, even in the presence of minimal temperature differences.
Infrared photography can be saved not only as a single image, but also as a video in MPEG-4 format directly in the camera (non-radiometric images) or, alternatively, can even be transferred to a PC as a fully radiometric infrared video and thanks to the 50/60-Hz technology, it can then be recorded and analyzed in real time.
The robust construction of the XC300 allows for trouble-free extended operation even on construction sites with harsh conditions. The XC300 is realized with a two-component shockproof structure with IP54 protection class and, thanks to the uncooled microbolometer technology, it allows to do without the regular maintenance or calibration operations.
High sensitivity and excellent image quality
The XC300 is able to measure temperatures up to +600 ° C (alternatively as an option up to +1.500 ° C) and in this, thanks to the extremely high thermal sensitivity, it makes visible temperature differences of just 0.05 ° C ( 50 mK).
The electric focus can be set either manually or with the automatic laser function and with the 10x digital zoom of the XC300 it is possible to freely choose the section to be measured. Optional replacement lenses further expand the application possibilities.
The integrated laser distance meter is also useful in all measurement applications. When it is on, you can read the measurement distance from the object directly on the display.
In addition to the laser distance meter, the standard equipment of this camera is completed by a 5 megapixel resolution and a photo light as well as a laser pointer for visual detection of the lens. The XC300 is also the first Trotec thermal imaging camera equipped with a high capacity lithium ion battery, capable of guaranteeing a measurement intervention without interruptions of an extremely long duration.
Practice: Live view settings, infrared video functions and measurement indicator via “DuoVision Plus”All the features of the XC300 have been designed with user convenience and efficient results. In the case of the XC300 the options for setting the temperature range, ie definition (span) and selection (level), instead of being preset in the menu and then checked in the live image, can be configured directly using the cursor keys and the change can be followed live on the screen.
The optional infrared video function of the XC300, which can be used to transfer fully radiometric infrared video to PC while the measurement is taking place and the results can be evaluated and recorded in real time on the software, creates the ideal prerequisites for an in-depth analysis of the results. This function allows for example a detailed analysis of the heating and cooling behavior of electronic and mechanical components or other objects in a defined period of time.
The DuoVision features built into the XC300 thermal imaging camera also allow numerous settings for live representation during measurement. Through the DuoVision function of image display in the image in addition to the single view of the infrared image or the real image, you can also get a combined representation of both image information in different overlays.
In addition, the additional DuoVision Plus feature combines infrared image information with strong contrast details of the real-image camera’s visible spectrum: for real-time viewing of a highly detailed thermal imaging fusion directly on the screen.
This mode of representation greatly facilitates the orientation, location and evaluation during the measurement, which is why you can recognize and examine any damage or defects faster. The supplied software offers, in addition to many other features, also a DuoVision function for superimposed representation ideal for documentation.
And to these features are added many others. For example, the user can also perform image backups on a regular basis. This function allows series shots of thermal images at a preselectable shooting frequency, for example every 30 minutes. With this shooting interval it is possible to better document long-term thermal behavior. In addition, with the earphones, bluetooth can be used to save voice comments directly with the infrared image.
